Health is Capacity.

Basilia Health is a physician-led executive health and performance company. We work with individuals, with organisations, and with the health and performance systems around them, to measure, protect and improve health capacity.

We combine clinical assessment, evidence-aware interpretation and structured follow-through to identify what matters, act on it and reassess — without generic wellness or unnecessary testing.

Physician-led · Evidence-aware

Health-related constraints can emerge before formal illness or incapacity.

Sleep loss, metabolic dysfunction, chronic stress, poor recovery and preventable clinical risk can affect energy, attention, emotional regulation and sustainable work capacity.

The issue is not simply whether a leader is “well” or “unwell”. It is whether relevant constraints are being recognised, interpreted and managed responsibly.

What remains unmeasured is easily normalised.

Choose your pathway.

Protect leadership capacity without compromising clinical confidentiality.

Basilia Health works with organisations across two connected systems — how work is designed, and the health and wellness programme around it. That can mean reviewing where the operating environment reduces capacity, assessing whether a health and wellness programme is coherent and effective, measuring what changes, and — where it is justified — targeted pathways for executives and other critical roles. The organisation may fund or coordinate the work; the individual remains the patient, and clinical information is not treated as employer-owned data.

Understand what is limiting your capacity — and what deserves attention first.

The executive pathway is being designed to bring relevant medical risk, sleep, metabolic health, recovery, physical capacity and real-world constraints into one prioritised view.

From assessment to action.

  1. MeasureRelevant history, examination, validated screening, selected measurements and indication-led tests.
  2. InterpretExplain what is present, absent or uncertain and what findings mean in context.
  3. PrioritiseIdentify the clinical and behavioural issues that deserve attention first.
  4. ImplementTranslate priorities into a practical plan that fits real-world constraints.
  5. TrackUse a limited set of meaningful trends and adherence indicators.
  6. ReassessReview response, revise the plan and escalate or refer when appropriate.

The systems that support sustained responsibility.

Basilia considers both the person's health and the conditions in which performance is being demanded — the clinical, behavioural and, for organisations, work-system factors that influence day-to-day capacity. The exact scope depends on the individual, evidence, risk and service status.

Clinical risk and prevention

Risk stratification, guideline-informed prevention, care navigation and referral.

Sleep and recovery

Sleep opportunity, insomnia and sleep-apnoea risk, circadian factors, travel and recovery patterns.

Metabolic capacity

Weight trajectory, waist, glucose regulation, lipids, blood pressure and relevant nutrition.

Physical capacity

Strength, aerobic fitness, sedentary load, movement and minimum-effective-dose exercise.

Stress, mental health and cognitive readiness

Screening, clinical risk, attention conditions and appropriate referral.

Behaviour, work design and travel resilience

Adherence architecture, routines, calendar friction, environment and travel constraints.

Clinical governance and privacy

The employer may fund the service. The individual remains the patient.

Individual clinical information is handled within the clinician–patient relationship, subject to informed consent, professional duties and applicable law. Employers receive only agreed operational information and carefully controlled de-identified aggregate reporting where the required consent, minimum-cohort and disclosure safeguards are met.

More information is not always better.

Tests should answer a defined clinical question, have an interpretation pathway and be capable of changing management. Basilia’s model favours relevant assessment and diagnostic governance over indiscriminate screening.

Evidence should clarify decisions, not decorate claims.

Basilia Health is building an evidence-led editorial platform for executives and organisational leaders. Our standards require verified sources, clear distinctions between association and causation, proportionate claims and transparent uncertainty.

Research & Insights is in development.

Clinical responsibility should remain visible.
